been in a card kind of mood:-)

butterfly is a sticker from Crate paper - as is the background paper
so I have been playing around with a few of the fun Bella stamps
background paper is lovely Simple stories
 more fun Crate paper
more crate paper...hmmm, this stuff is great for cards!!
this gorgeous butterfly is the spellbinder Butterfly package that has a die-cut and a background - this is a stunning package with 5 different butterflies in it!
guess what - more crate paper!! I love the sheet of Die-cut cards in every paper line, you can cut them up and use them for your card fronts - the sheet also has that little "friends forever" die-cut in the card above, and a few blank ones that you can stamp in like the very first card on this post!

When making cards I love to go with a paper line that matches, one that has a die-cut sheet, I usually grab the matching stickers and just add some ribbon and buttons in co-ordinating colors, you can whip up some amazing cards in no time at all:-)

I hope you feel inspired!

more cards...

sometimes the mood just strikes, here a a few other fun cards using products that are in the store right now!

I can't take credit for these though - Pam (Cottage Girl) made these stunning cards using the Martha Stewart Butterfly punches!  Aren't they Beautiful!  She used Alphabet Soup paper form My Mind's Eye.

just some simple grad cards for some kids of friends - using Graphic45 paper and the die-cuts are old Pink Paislee, the sayings were just perfect for this awesome occasion!

some thank-you's for some well-deserving girls:-) You know who you are!  (Not sure about the lighting in this photo - that is terrible!!)
some Girl's paper paper and dies I had in my stash...I just love a little Vintage:-)

and some Pure Innocence Girls - I used Copic markers to color these, and the above is the sentiment inside:-)
I hope you do smile today, and you feel a little Inspired!

working on a few projects...

I always have more than one project on the go, such is my nature I guess...
here are some burnished velvet cards I worked on for a class I am doing on Dec 2nd...

if you have never worked with this technique, it is so fun - but you do get covered with Glitter!
it is a technique where you work with a super sticky tape called Sookwang, and then "burnish" or "rub" the glitter into the tape till it litterally feels like velvet...hmmm might be time to start thinking about video tutorials, any volunteers to hold the camera:-)

Also playing with these Artist Trays from 7Gypsies...

playing with my favorite paper - October Afternoon again:-) the Seaside line ...this is almost done now, I just had to head over to Dollorama for sea-shells, and needed to find a little vial for some sand:-)
I will post a completed photo when done! I think it is going to hang in my bathroom:-)
Also almost completed one with our fall family pics... will post that one too shortly....
Also almost done Aubrey's school pages,
did this years halloween,
did some pages about my little girl having to always hang out at the hockey rink...
did a mini-book about our week at Betula Lake...
I went scrapbooking last Fri & Sat - it was awesome to have some time to just CREATE!!
lots of good stuff coming shortly!

Quick Card Creations II...

so I got out a few more scraps left over from layouts, this time around I had wanted to use these canvas flowers from Jillibean, and maybe the twill side of this sea shell ribbon I had lying around.  The patterned paper is from The Girls Paperie

okay so I cheated an added more than leftovers, I could not resist adding these petals from Prima - I did not emboss the cardstock - it is Bazzill Dotted Swiss in Pomegranate, gorgeous color!

these letters are the ledger ones from My Mind's Eye for only $2.29, I outlined them with brown so they popped a little more!

these are some fun ones using Webster's pages paper scraps, and Prima flowers, the tiny ledger word stickers are once again from The Girls Paperie, and ribbons are from my stash...here is a closer look!
hmmm I did make an Anniversary and Housewarming card as well with The Girls Paperie, I think I gave them away before I thought of taking a picture, but the recipients loved them!

May you bless someone with your scraps this week, take a few and create something pretty, you never know what you have in your "stash" :-)

Quick Card Creations...

So I needed a few cards quick! Birthdays, anniversary & a housewarming...so here is what I did!
1.Grabbed pile of scraps I wanted to use up - In this case it was leftovers from the Sun Kissed line from Bo-Bunny and a little bit of Fancy pants and October Afternoon paper.

2. Grabbed these clear word stickers from Karen Foster (they come in Birthday, Congratulations and Thank-you sentiments) and they are a REALLY Great price!

3.Start having fun - I went with a basic 5.5x4.25 card size - fits into your basic envelope, and just layered paper and stickers and these sentiment stickers until I was tired of these leftovers:-)  here are some I came up with!
and my favorite:-)

super fun and super easy! and I kept making more cards - check back tomorrow for more pictures:-)
