Halloween treats:-)

for Dain's class, we planned to make them look like cats...they looked a little more like mice by the time we were done...check them out!

started off with Rice Krispie square base
pinched together the top of mini-marshmallows to make them look like pointy ears
added raisens for the eyes and nose
cut up "laces" licorice for the whiskers
= adorable and edible mice:-)

Happy Halloween:-)
ps- I LOVE this holiday, so fun!!

Olivia & Aubrey

here are some great layouts with the Olivia line from Bo-Bunny which is currently in the store - the pics were taken by yours truly and the layouts were created and completed by Shannon, one of the girls who works at the store.  Check out her great layouts!

All paper, chipboard and big ivory flower from Olivia! Brown letters on second layout are grungeboard (Tim Holtz) that has been inked up. And isn't that rose ribbon stunning???

ideas for scalloped papers:-)

Hi there,
Tannis D does alot of layouts for me here at the store - and I just wanted to post 2 awesome layouts she did with the line from The Girls Paperie.
Here she used 2 different scalloped edges papers and just did the layouts on them, they will just slide in your page protector. Now if you like everything to look very linear in your scrapbook, you might want to adhere these pages on a piece of 12x12 cardstock.  But I just put them in and just make sure the color of the 12x12 page in the same protector is a complementary color, I am happy with the look!

Check this out-

I love how she painted the patterned paper with a little green paint that is the same color as the logo on the "Lush" container  - and I just can't believe how creative Blair was to make this design on her feet:-)
it's fun to document the everyday things!!!

Here is the most beautiful beach layout!

this tape holding down the corners,is the new Tim Holtz tissue tape, this stuff is so fun,
it is somewhat transparent, comes 2 different designs to a package and you get alot on every roll...just think of the possibilities!
Oh, and the handwriting on the photo, that is Tannis - she used a Slick writer by American Crafts as it works perfectly to write directly on your photos!

Hope you feel inspired today!

I am in LOVE with Basic Grey new line called "Wander"

seriously, this is just the best line I have seen in a while, when I saw it a few months ago in an ad in Scrapbook Trends magazine I just knew I had to order it, even though it is promoted as a Travel themed line...I could see the amazing possibilities for great boy pages as well...here are just a few layouts I have created with it so far - with more to come!!

I loved this paper for a 1st day of school layout, every single item including the letters for the title is from the Wander line! My photos were printed with a white mat just to change things up a bit:-)

Every single thing once again from Wander - (well I did use some bazzil cardstock as a background) Love the border arrows & gear sticker (from the 12x12 sticker sheet from this line!)  I outlined the letters of the title with a black Micron pen, just to give them some pop!

my boy LOVES to collect frogs - but we do have the 3 day rule (trust me I tried longer, I am just not into buying and feeding them live crickets!!!)
Once again, Wander!!! Just the journal stickers are my favorite from OA:-)

it even works for those TinkerTown pictures you take every couple of years and need to jazz them up!!! I loved the city streets paper for these pages! - and those corrugated letters (Jillibean soup, they come in Green and white too! Background cardstock from Basic Grey) But once again, everything else from "WANDER"

this line was inspiring to work with - don't you love it when a paper line does that! I hope I inspire you to create something today:-)
