wow what a spring...

yikes it has been a while!  ok - so crop #4 is this weekend - it is the 4th one I have been involved in since ours back in May - they suck up my time!!!! It is insane how crazy they make my life, and now that I am almost done, I can just hang out... well almost - the inspiration blog has been on my mind but further to the back, but here are a couple of things that have been happening so you know I have been busy!!

did a few painting projects - before and after of this great little cabinet I found!!

the pegboards needed an update too...is that bright enough for you??

we were soo lucky to be a store on site at the Crop and Create Scrapbook Event- what a terrific time!!
some Red Hat ladies came to visit me here in Steinbach and we made a card - super fun!
did some baking, monster cookie bars - yum!!

did some creating with Bo-Bunny's Zoology line, an oldie but a goodie:-)
also made a couple of pages with Echo Park "This and That" sorry pic is a little off, will post the other layout I did :-)

my nephew turned 13 - here is his card

we did a service project at church where we packed lunches for the local schools, our grade 1 and 2 department donated enough groceries to pack 140 lunches!!!!  (Did you know that there is a substantial need for this in Steinbach - I had absolutely no idea until we found out Steinbach Mennonite church runs this AMAZING program!)
Aubrey is helping me out to the car with them:-)
Pam (cottage girl) and I were in Red Lake on this last Weekend, where gas is soo expensive they don't even put it on the sign!!!

using Dear Lizzy - Neapolitan
see - life is always crazy! I truly hope you find a little time to work on a few projects
even when life is nuts - if I can you most certainly can!!

ttyl!

Here are some samples of what has been done up with this kit!! All designed by Tannis D

little bit of white paint - directly on the cardstock & the corrugated paper, little circle punche(her own)
dew drops (her own) and inked the edges of the paper and stapled the ribbon with the tiny attacher - by Tim Holtz "Slight Alterations" (I just ordered this one for the store, it is fabulous!!)

Inked the wooden Pennants, put letter stickers on the pennant as well, twine through the button ,
title (her own) Bella Blvd
Inked the edges of everything, words are from the Year-o-logy paper,
butterfly punch is Martha Stewart (her own)

another lovely & simple idea you can do, using the alphabet stickers on the tag, heart punch (Martha again, her own) and 1 dew drop, so precious!
this one is so cool!  Paint on the corrugated, a Tim Holtz border stamp called
and glimmer mists, and then stamped over the top.
And here she made a little mini book, with that large Melissa Francis Envelope!

She used Mr. Hueys butterfly mask and sprays, then stamped that same border stamp around the outside edges.
with the leftover paper, she made little mini pages for the envelope, the tabs on top...the Jenni Bowlin tab punch, soo great!

don't you just love to play with paper?? I hope that these ideas inspire you today!!!
And it you want a kit, email me at the store, it's the 1st one-so there is limited quantities,  but I am already working on April's kit - yipee!!

in the midst of all this renovating....

I find the need to create!! Creating big spaces has filled my mind lately...but that does not mean that enough of my creative brain gets used... so here are a few things that will hopefully inspire you to get into your Supplies!

I was lucky enough to see "Wicked" when it came to Winnipeg:-)  My hubby had surprised me with tickets, a friend to go with, supper and he even arranged childcare!!! LOVE that guy!!
 Truly a night worth Scrapbooking!

 Playing with Bo-Bunny's Forever Fall!

used the Martha Stewart branch punch above.

Harmonie wooden tree - used Pumpkin Pie Glimmer mist and vintage photo distress ink around the edges

I truly hope you find a little time to "Create" for yourself this week!

Mama-Razzi....

well I guess I kind of am - and here is proof as I was caught in the act!!

this layout has a little story...at the Fall Crop, I had walked by our beautiful "Wall of samples" Friday night many, many times. But then on Saturday morning, before anyone else had even arrived I took a closer look, just to admire all our designers great work...and then I saw this layout - I was shocked!  I was even brought to tears wondering who could have done it???  Well when Marilyn had arrived I asked her, she said my wonderful Mother-in-law Marlene had done it, and when Marilyn had seen it, she thought it was great and we needed to add it to the wall.  They wanted to see if I would notice - and I did. And my heart just smiled as this layout is really so me, I am not often in the photo, but can always be seen with a camera in hand.

I hope you feel inspired today!

Sparkles in the Sky:-)

I hope you had a great Canada Day, or maybe you are celebrating the 4th of July!
Here is a layout I did of the fireworks at Disney, maybe this will get your brain going to try and scrap something recent, like those fireworks pics from just the other day:-)

I hope you feel inspired!
