Blasting off:-)

I love Bo-Bunny - all their paper is soo cute!  And those accents - sooo awesome:-)

Here is a 1 page 12x12 layout using their new "Blast-off" line,  I really liked the colors and the rocket ships, but that "Rocket" theme has never been one of my boys favorites...but then I remembered these pics from last summer and Dain did yell "Blast off" as he was doing this dangerous jump off the swing - perfect photos for the perfect paper:-)

yes, and all this great stuff is in the store right now, better come in and get it before it too "Blasts off!"
I hope you feel inspired today!

cosmo cricket - joyride

I played a little with some "Joyride" by CC.  Love the bright colors, and thought I would do a simply layout of last summers adventure to the Goldeye's game.  I even included a ticket from the game!
Letters are from Basic Grey - journal stickers and word stickers from October Afternoon:-)

Marilyn also was a little Creative lately:-)  I guess the thought of spring is getting her excited about "Garage-saling"  and here is a layout that captures the "thrill of the search of Good Junk" perfectly!

Paper is from My Mind's Eye - Stella line, stickers are from 7Gypies "C is for Collector" sticker sheet, letters are Basic Grey and October Afternoon, Canvas Flower is Jillibean (with a sticker center).  I love the fact that they have cups of Timmy's in the photo:-)

I hope you feel a little inspired today:-)

what a weekend:-)

this is the 3rd year I have headed out to Edmonton for a trade show, it's kind of a mini "canadian" version of CHA. It is sooo fun, loads of classes, loads of the latest and greatest scrapbook supplies, loads of coffee...and lack of sleep, but it is all worth it!!

So we (my sister Jen & Cottage Girl Connie) headed out to WPG airport Steinbach at 4am. Arrived in Edmonton by 8:30am (their time) they are an hour ahead of us. Then picked up our Timmy's and headed over to go shopping in one of our wholesaler's wharehouse - soooo cool!!!! Then we went for lunch and to 2 local scrapbook stores to check them out!  Then over to the hotel to check-in and register for our weekend of fun by 4pm, check out the supplier booths, then eat some supper, and then in classes till 10:30pm!!! Wind down - till after midnight, and back downstairs to register for our day by 8:00am.... Our 1st class was with Mr. Tim Holtz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and so Sat & Sunday continued, up early - to bed late...next to no sleep Sat to Sun because of some partiers in the room next door...but that is a whole other story!!!  Busy, busy!
Here are some pics of some of the weekend highlights!!!!

Making the Cut...

sometimes we take a look at some of the older lines in the store and say "how can we jazz this one up?"  well here is some paper from Material Girl & Garden Variety, both by Cosmo Cricket!  Shannon (Cottage Girl) created the layout, and I found some great photos...I love how the scissor paper works so well with my little girl using her own scissors and just cutting something up for the sake of it...EVERY layout has a story:-)

Here was another Cosmo Cricket line I have played with already, but I knew these pictures would work perfectly with, "Togetherness" is just the right title, for the paper line...and even for the layout!

a few other accents include - jenni bowlin sticker stars with alphabets, OA Tin Pins and sticker letters, chipboard from Cosmo cricket, maya road ticket, thickers, Ribbon- my stash:-)
 I hope you feel inspired!
