Family Album - using Little Yellow Bicycle products

This album was a labour of love - it was a great opportunity to pull out various family photos already scrapped, or individual photos that do not quite make a layout, but are great non-the-less, and you want to add them to something.
Little Yellow Bicycle makes these great white chipboard albums with a clear acylic cover, they include 3 rings. The paper pad has a variety of themes, Family, Dog & Faith. There are stickers included in the paper pad, however there is another sticker package to complement the line, as well as a themed journaling tablet. Everything was used to create this project!

Have a great day!

CHA is next week!

I'm super excited, this is the best time, getting sneak peaks of all the new lines - picking and choosing what I want to bring in the store. There are so many great things, and the store is only so big so it's hard to pick and choose the best of the best. But I promise I will do my best and you will love everything that comes in. So far here are a few things I like the looks of...
http://www.cosmocricket.typepad.com/   Material Girl & joyride are so cute!
http://prima.typepad.com/prima/2010/01/canvas-peeks.html  these canvas bags are amazing, now that is talent!

other pretty things - to love and to cherish line from Imaginisce
new distress inks from Tim Holtz
new products from Bo-Bunny
Maya Roads flowers and ribbons

hmm the list goes on and on, you just have to watch for those New in store emails:-) to see what I choose!

Finished December Daily

Here are the finished pics of the December Daily - Using pretty much all of Pink Paislees Christmas line, soo fun- great colors and a very fun project! I actually think I almost like the pages without protectors the most, mmm ideas for next year...
here are pages 21-25

After I took a look at the album as a whole, I decided to add some number stickers - I used the ones from Little Yellow Bicycle, I just felt they added a nice detail.  The little envelopes I used for extra pictures on the last page and page 3 are from Maya Road.  Thanks for looking!

December Daily Progress

well it's been a little while, I have no issues taking my "picture a day" for my DD - the issue is printing the pictures, and deciding what sizes I want, etc. Solution, a friend and fellow scrapbooker showed me some pics she printed on her printer at home - they were awesome, nice colors, crisp - and I usually don't love glossy but these pics looked great! Even more enticing, the software that comes with the printer has a great photo program that prints the pic in different sizes and with or without the white border. She picked one up for me at Staples in Wpg. a Canon Pixma 4600 - I'm in love! It was only $69.99, and yes the ink will be very expensive to replace, but I won't use it for everything, just special projects (like this one) or when it's 1am, I'm scrapbooking and need a certain pic in a certain size - yes me and Pixma will be very happy together!
In the meantime, here are my completed pages 1-20... be inspired:-)

extra pics from Dain's field trip in this
cute little envelope from Maya Road

I will upload a few more pages in the next day or 2... I'm not saying every page is totally done, after I have the whole album full of pictures, I might go back and "tweek" things a little, but it has been really great capturing the "little moments" in the busy month, Merry Christmas!
